Removing user from a role

Hi,
I am setting up Redmine however i encountered an issue. If a add a new user with all three roles and assign them to a project, i cannot remove the user from either roles on that project as the option is not highlighted. has anyone encountered this?

I've the same behaviour if I've added the user to a group and add this group to the project.
Then I can't remove the role from the specific user.

But that should be expected behaviour.

I'm a "normal" redmine user so maybe this is maybe really a bug.

But in my opinion this would be a disagreement:
  • On one side you have added the user by adding the group
  • On the other side you remove the user from the project

I think both scenarios can't have an impact at the same time.
So the question is what is more important?

got that. in fact i found what was stopping me from removing the users. The user in question was part of a group. this group was part of the project with all roles enabled. once the role was removed from the group i could edit the user.

I have run into this as well (unable to remove a group from project) with 3.3.0.
