Add Company Logo in Redmine 2.3.2

Added by Karl Fenech about 11 years ago

Hi,
We have recently run Redmine 2.3.2 from the downloaded Virtual Machine and set up some initial settings.

I had successfully managed to change the favcon to the but now would like to set up a logo on the right hand side of the application. Is this possible? i searched various articles but none seem to be valid.

The link above describes how this can be done however the file base.rhtml is not found on this VM.

Anyone encountered this issue?

Ohh, come on... Looking at that directory, you'll find base.html.erb and when opening it, you'll see it's what you're looking for ;-)

I have fixed the HowTo.

Note: starting with the next 2.4.0 release, you will be able to add logos on a per project base via Redmine themes. This can be done using a new project-specific CSS class that is added to the HTML body (see r12170).

The instructions only work for a given installation. We don't all install Redmine in the same place - so the reader must adjust the instructions based on their actual installation.

The file does not live in that location on my installation, for example because I chose a different folder structure.
