Final decision on age-old issues

There are a number of open tickets that were created for version 1 about 10 years ago and have not been dealt with / updated for years.
Wouldn't it be time to make a final decision on these and either prioritize them or close them for good? Version 1 no longer has that much in common with the planned version 5 and some things have been solved differently in the meantime
