Description
Redmine allows the creation of a subtask through the "Add" button in the "Subtasks" section of a task.
What about assigning an existing task as a subtask? Yes, why not? I tend to create the subtasks individually first, and then create their parent and assign them.
I think a drop down menu ala "related issues" is required

#5484 is (mainly) the same request, and has a patch to show the "parent issue" field in the issue form for new issues and in the "more" pane when updating issues.
