For enterprise installation, it would be interesting to have proper support of email via Microsoft Exchange connection.

The wiki page on this topic provides only very little help: HowTo configure Redmine to mail to MS Exchange server

Forum posts also suggest that a lot of people have been encountering issued without any clear resolution: Email Configuration Problems (Again).

In big companies support for the main mail servers are often very distant and hard to reach. It would make sense to have a bit more certainty on the requirements on the exchange side if any and on the configuration on the Redmine side.
