Redmine 4.1.0 release date?

Hi all,

Does anyone have an idea on release date of Redmine 4.1.0? After checking the planned improvements I cannot wait to upgrade!

Only Jean-Philippe Lang knows the date, but I expect 4.1.0 will be released soon because 4.1-stable branch has already been created in the repository.

21 days have passed and nothing is known about the release date.

True but if you look at the revisions/activity log there are many changes and fixes. The roadmap now shows zero open issues for both 4.0.6 and 4.1.0 so perhaps the release will come before Christmas which would be nice.

Indeed, I can confirm that the expected date for the release is just before Christmas (December 21 or 22).

Well since there is still one open issue in a roadmap for 4.1.0 and the release date has been set to 2019-12-22 I wouldn't say it's released. But sure the branch is created, as mentioned by Go Maeda a month ago.

Just not. No release has been pulled from that branch (which Go already mentioned in RE: Redmine 4.1.0 release date?), yet. The current roadmap gives the release date as 2019-12-22. See 4.1.0.

Maybe he can use svn to download the latest version now?

You can checkout the source code from 4.1-stable branch and use most features of Redmine 4.1.0.

But Redmine 4.1.0 has not been released yet, so it cannot be said as Redmine 4.1.0. Some more changes may be made until the release of 4.1.0.

I wouldn't say it's released. But sure the branch is created, as mentioned by Go Maeda a month ago.
