Can I safely delete custom fields?

Hi,

I'd like to remove some fields that were used by one project that is already archived. But, what happens with those fields and their values in the archived project? Is it then possible to reactivated the archived project?

You were used some custom fields in a project and you had archived it. Now you don't need these custom fields in the other projects, do you? If this is your case you may do the following:

  1. Do not select 'For all projects' for the unwanted custom fields (needs administration rights)
  2. Do not select these fields in the other projects configuration.

This way the custom field will exist in the archived project and will not exist in the others.
