Custom fields for one project
Added by Nelson LaQuet over 15 years ago
How can I make a custom field for a specific project's bug tracker? Do I have to create another tracker for that project and assign that custom field to it?

- Create a custom field
- Check the Tracker you want this custom field for
- Make sure "For all projects" is Unchecked
- Go the Project Select Settings -> Information
- Select the right "Trackers"
- Select your custom field & Save
Now you should see your custom field for a specific project's bug tracker when you create a new Issue.
Hope this helps.

I suspect this is not a standard behaviour for custom fields in elements other than issues.
Right? I mean, I have not been able to create a custom field for versions applicable for one project only
Anyone knows if it is possible?

Yes, it is not possible. Only IssuesCustomFields
has the "For all projects" property. See RedmineCustomFields.

More than 12 years passed but I wonder that the only one who needs this opportunity is me? Could anyone deal to copy the properties from the issues to the other ones? If this is so hard for all, could you please think for the Spent Times? Thanks in advance
