Set projects invisible for admin user account
Added by Christian Lenz almost 3 years ago
Is there any possibility to set projects invisible for admin users?
So that they are not visible in the list of projects for the admin user account.
In this forum and also at the redmine documentation i couldn't find any hint.
Thanks!

Admins see everything - that's why it's admins
Redmine has an individually adjustable role management system - in which many rights can also be assigned to non-admin roles.

Thanks for your quick response.
I see your point.
Need to find an other solution for my problem.
Maybe with a filter on my startpage, where i only can see chosen projects.

If a user is not an admin, he will only see the projects of which he is a member in the project overview

In Redmine 4.1 or later, the query system was added to the Projects page (#29482) and in the upcoming Redmine 5.0.0, users you be able to set a default project query (#35795). You should upgrade your instance to obtain these features.

I solved my problem with the option to mark favourite projects and displayed the list of favourite projects on my startpage.
Poorly i can only display max. 50 projects with the filter "List -> Projects" but for now these are enough for me.
But I also hope we can update our system soon.
Thank you again for your quick responses :)
