The Extended Fields plugin "extends" custom fields by:
- Adding new custom field types: "Project" ("Wiki text" and "Link" for Redmine < 2.5.x);
- Adding new properties to custom fields: "Hint" and "On registration" (for user);
- Adding support for custom field template/view files, thus, allowing to customize how custom fields are rendered;
- Adding columns customization to projects and users listings (in "Administration");
- Adding "special columns" to listings, which display calculated data.
Installation notes
- Copy
extended_fieldsdirectory to#{RAILS_ROOT}/plugins. - Run:
rake redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production. - Restart Redmine.
