• Once the download finishes, find the downloaded file on your computer.
• Double-click on the downloaded file to begin the installation. If you see a security prompt, just confirm that you want to run the installer.
• The installer will pop up, usually with a welcome screen explaining the app. Read through any provided info and agree to any terms if necessary.
• Follow the installer's instructions. You might be asked to choose where to install or customize settings. Make your choices accordingly.
• Click on "Install" or "Next" to move forward with the installation.
• The installation might take a bit. Once it's done, you'll get a message confirming the successful installation.
• Close the installer window.
• Now, the Time Tracker Desktop App is installed on your Windows. You can find it in the Start menu or by searching for it in the search bar.
• To use it, just click on its icon in the Start menu or search results.

Follow the below steps to installation on MacOS:¶

• Download link or button made specifically for MacOS and click on it to start downloading.
• Once the download completes, go to Finder and locate the downloaded file.
• Right-click on the Time Tracker Desktop App and select "Open."
• Typically, you'll need to drag the Time Tracker Desktop App icon to the “Applications” folder. This finishes the installation by copying the app to your Applications folder.
• The installation might take a moment. Once it's done, you can close the installation window.
• Now, the Time Tracker Desktop App is installed on your macOS. You can find it in the “Applications” folder or by using Spotlight search (Cmd + Space) and typing the app’s name.

To install Time Tracker Plugin follow these steps¶

• Make sure you have a working installation of Redmine.
• Unzip the plugin and copy it to redmine_root/plugins or copy the archive in the same location and perform the unzip command in the console and do not change the plugin folder name.
• Run the following command to install the required dependencies
  

  Bundle install
  

• Run migrate command for database migration
  

  RAILS_ENV=Production bundle exec rails redmine:plugins:migrate 
  

• Restart Redmine
• Login as a administrator.
• Navigate to Administration tab from top menu.
• Click on Settings and find the API tab and enable the rest API
